About Ziplabs

Building with the whole business in view.

Ziplabs is a venture-building platform for enterprise AI and software. We explore where AI can change how important work gets done and build the product and the system that make it dependable. Where an opportunity is strong, we develop it into a business with customers, a route to market and economics that hold up.

  • 01

    What we look for

Enterprise work that is expensive to do badly, where the next step depends on interpretation and people are accountable for the result. Dependable software changes how that work gets done. Unreliable software is quickly abandoned.

  • 02

    What we bring

Product leadership, engineering and go-to-market experience applied to one problem. Customer discovery shapes the system design, and what the system can reliably do shapes the price.

  • 03

    What we develop

Much of the exploration is meant to rule things out. The opportunities that justify further investment become ventures through product development, market validation and the team the work requires.

Three questions, asked together

Each answer constrains the other two.

  • Product

Who is this for, what does it replace and why would someone change how they work?

  • Technical

Where should an agent decide, what may it touch and how will we know it worked?

  • Commercial

What is a result worth to the buyer, and how does the product reach them?

Enterprise adoption depends on what the system can be trusted to do, and that decides what a buyer will pay for. The price in turn limits how much review and infrastructure the product can afford. We keep all three in view from the first customer conversation.
